Land Use and Development

Our lawyers regularly appear before planning boards and boards of adjustment on behalf of our clients, obtaining land use approvals associated with commercial and multifamily residential developments. Our services include obtaining site plan and subdivision approvals; obtaining use variance and bulk variance approvals; procuring amendments to municipal zoning ordinances; redevelopment plans (rezoning); and procuring interpretations of zoning ordinances. 

Real Estate Finance

We have years of experience representing borrowers in connection with a broad range of real estate financing transactions involving a number of commercial real estate assets classes, including restaurants, hotels, office buildings, multi-family developments, industrial sites, and shopping centers. 

Purchase and Sale of Real Estate

We bring years of practical experience and a hands on approach to the acquisition and disposition of commercial and residential real estate, from initial letters of intent, to definitive contract negotiations, due diligence, financing and closing.  We work closely with related professionals—real estate brokers, bankers, accountants, engineers, environmental consultants, and surveyors to consummate successful transactions for our clients. 

Commercial Leasing

We regularly represent commercial landlords and tenants in a wide range of leasing transactions involving commercial office space, retail, industrial and special use properties.

Brokerage

We are experienced in real estate brokerage law.  We represent brokerage firms, owners, tenants and contract purchasers in a number of brokerage related matters, including landlord listing agreements, tenant representation agreements, co-brokerage agreements with cooperating brokers, and broker / agent agreements.
