David has more than 25 years of experience practicing law in both New Jersey and New York. He has extensive experience with real estate transactions, representing individuals, business entities condominiums, banks, and lenders. In addition to completing numerous residential and commercial real estate transactions annually, David has experience representing estates, preparing wills and estate planning documents, business formation including all corporation matters, and general business litigation as well as employment law for both individuals and business entities.

David Stern has represented numerous clients who have purchased, sold or refinanced their single family residential properties, condominiums and cooperative apartments in New Jersey and throughout New York State. David is approved in both New Jersey and New York as a cooperative closing agent for Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. and Bank of America and is completely versed in the process of New York closings. He is also a preferred real estate partner of ADP.

David's areas of practice also include prosecuting and defending litigation matters in the State and Federal Courts in New York and NewJersey. The employment practice represents corporate clients as well as individuals, and includes drafting and revising employee handbooks, employee contracts, and preparing and negotiating severance agreements and shareholder agreements along with handling all aspects of various commercial transactions for corporate clients.

David is a 1988 graduate of Brandeis University and a 1991 graduate of Hofstra University School of Law where he was a Notes and Comments Editor of the Hofstra Labor Law Journal.
