Jack Groshen is an associate at Kaplan, Williams, Graffeo & Stern LLC where he focuses on commercial litigation and insurance defense matters.
Jack received his Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law where he successfully completed a concentration in Tax Law with an emphasis on business, corporate, and trusts and estates. During his time at Quinnipiac, Jack was very active with the Society for Dispute Resolution, including competing in numerous regional competitions, the Student Bar Association, the Tax Law Society, and the Sports & Entertainment Law Society. Jack also worked with the Quinnipiac University School of Law Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic where he assisted individuals in need of counsel regarding complex tax liability matters. Jack completed his undergraduate studies at Boston University where he earned dual degrees in Political Science and International Relations.
Jack began his legal career during law school as a legal intern for the Attorney General’s Office in Newark, NJ where he was involved with the Professional Boards Prosecution and Consumer Fraud sections protecting victims of fraud. Thereafter, following graduation, he was engaged in the private practice of law involving complex products liability and corporate defense matters, as well as litigating labor and employment, personal injury, general liability, and workers compensation matters, along with handling real estate and criminal matters.
